As it goes, the human body cannot always adjust to strange situations. It is unfortunate that certain substances present in the atmosphere can produce adverse reactions in the body. These substances can thus be allergens to the person whose immune system produces negative reactions to them. These allergic reactions on the skin can be in the form of eczema, which produces rashes and inflammation on the skin that are itchy and irritating. And the propensity to scratch can further lead to persistent itching and scarring. Eczema treatment can, thus, be done by the use of proper cleansers.

Often, the reasons for such allergic reactions are not clear and these can be generally attributed to some problem in the immune system, which in turn could be due to the genetic make-up of the person. This means that not much can be actually done to eliminate eczema altogether.

These eczema flare-ups, in most people, are characterised by the common symptoms of redness and inflammation of the skin and dreadful rashes. The severity of the symptoms depends from person to person and from situation to situation.

The first step in eczema treatment should thus be to find out the environmental allergens that act as triggers to cause typical eczema flare-ups. The usual known triggers could be pollutants and toxins present in nature. We face exposure to these substances everyday. For many of us, the skin gets used to it; but someone unaccustomed to it due to cleaner atmospheric sittings and with susceptible immunity may find his skin developing allergic reactions. And this can happen to any normal, healthy person.
